Villanova To Host ESPN's College Gameday

For the first time ever, ESPN will be bringing their "College Gameday" show to the campus of Villanova. Nova will host rival Pitt Panthers in what could arguably be their biggest game of the season. Nova coach Jay Wright is excited.

"We’re thrilled that ESPN has decided to bring `College GameDay’ to the Villanova campus for the first time. The entire country will get to see the great support we receive from the Nova Nation and our amazing student section. All of us at Villanova are excited about this opportunity."

Nyjer Morgan Apparently Doesn't Realize He Just Got Beat Up

Nationals outfielder Nyjer Morgan, who last month was suspended for hitting a fan in the head with a ball, charged the mound tonight and started a brawl in a game against the Marlins. The funniest part is that after having this happen to him...

Morgan ends up walking off the field with his arms held up triumphantly. Nyjer, in the words of Chris Tucker... ""You got knocked the F out man!" And your team got pounded that night too. So, walking off the field with your arms raised like you won something kinda makes you look like a clown. Then again, you are a clown.

Andre Iguodala Preaches Defense At FIBA World Basketball Championships

Andre Iguodala and team USA defeated Iran today 88-51 to clinch a top seed in the next round of the FIBA World Basketball Championships in Athens, Greece. Andre said he was happy with the way the team was playing, but stressed the need for better communication on defense.

I think in the second half we were communicating a little bit better on the defensive end. If I had one concern with our team, it’s communication defensively. We got some quiet guys who in their nature it’s to be quiet, but defensively you got to talk. Everybody has to be like five guys on one string, rotations, pick and rolls … a lot of teams have tried to hurt us with that.

It’s good to hear any Sixer preaching defense… but it’s especially nice to hear it from their leader and best defensive player.

Turtle Talks About Hanging With Ryan Howard

Ryan Howard have a cameo on the season finale of "Entourage" and with the Phillies currently in LA, actor Jerry Ferrara (who plays Turtle in the show) took the opportunity to chat with Howard while he was taking BP.

"It sounded like he had a good time," Ferrara said. "He's a fan of the show. We're obviously a big fan of his. As a Yankee fan, I didn't know if he was going to be too happy that the storyline was with my character, but we didn't talk Yankees."

Ferrara said that in the episode, Howard would be "in a position to help out my character a little bit."
