CSNPhilly is reporting that the Flyers will make an offer to free agent goalie Dan Ellis this afternoon. His rights had been traded to the Montreal Canadiens in the last week, but contract negotiations didn’t seem to go anywhere so he will head to unrestricted free agency today.
Ellis shares an agent with Michael Leighton.
