Flyers Have About A Million Left To Play With
Tim Pannacio of CSNPhilly estimates that the Flyers have around a million dollars left to spend in free agency this year.
The Flyers can go 10 percent over the $59.4 million cap up till season’s start. At the end of Thursday, if you subtract Bartulis’ and Cote’s salaries, they were about $1 million under. If you include Bartulis’ salary, they’re less than $500,000 over.
It’s being widely speculated now that the Flyers will look to make a trade to unload some salary. Broad Street Hockey thinks Simon Gagne could be the man on the move.
