Amaro Hints That Phillies Trade For A Pitcher Imminent

Multiple Phillies beat writers are reporting that GM Ruben Amaro hinted that the Phillies will soon make a move for a pitcher. It may even be soon enough for the new pitcher to make the start that Kyle Kendrick was supposed to make this Saturday.

Ruben briefed reporters, said SAT start could cone from someone outside organization. Says team remains buyer but would still consider trading off 25-man roster. "If players were playing better than I wouldn't be considering moving them," Amaro said.
