Panaccio: Turco's Text Says A Flyers Move Won't Happen
Former Dallas Stars goalie Marty Turco would have liked to joint the Flyers, but that won’t happen according to a text he sent to Tim Panaccio.
“We would have loved to go to the Flyers, but it’s not happening,” Turco texted CSNPhilly.com late Saturday from Scotland.
The speculation is that he could head to Chicago, if the cap and cash strapped Blackhawks decide to let Antii Niemi go to unrestricted free agency. This week Niemi was awarded $2.75 million by an arbitrator, but the Blackhawks could decline that award and let him walk.
