Shane Victorino Activated For Tonight's Game, Domonic Brown Stays Up

The Phillies have activated Shane Victorino off the 15 day DL today and he will be eligible to play tonight, but is not in the starting lineup. Victorino had a big night in Lehigh Valley last night going 3-4 with a triple, HR, and 3 RBI.

It’s been widely expected that when Victorino came back up that Domonic Brown would be sent back down to AAA to get more regular at bats, however with Ross Gload’s injury last night the Phils are in need of another bat. So for now Brown will stay up and Antonio Bastardo will go down.

If Gload is able to come back in a few days, Brown will likely be sent back down until September 1.
