La Salle looks for its sixth win in its last seven games against the struggling Central Connecticut State Blue Devils.

The La Salle men's basketball team looks for its sixth win in its last seven games -- and tries to bounce back from Monday's loss to Delaware -- when the Explorers visit the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on Thursday night at 7 p.m. (radio: WNTP 990 AM).

La Salle had won five straight prior to Monday night's 70-66 setback against Delaware. Senior Devon White came off the bench to lead the Explorers with 15 points, 11 in the second half, but his spark was not enough. Kyle Anderson scored five straight points to give Delaware a 65-60 lead with 3:16 remaining, and the Blue Hens held the Explorers at bay the rest of the way. La Salle leading scorer Ramon Galloway (15.0 points per game) was held to 11 points in the loss.

Central Connecticut State has three players averaging more than 19 points, including Ken Horton, whose 22.5 average ranks third nationally, but the Blue Devils have lost three straight. Their most recent game was a70-64 loss to Northwestern, but the Blue Devils are a perfect 4-0 at home.
