The Flyers have been without Chris Pronger for the past two games, but they will have to play without him for at least the next nine games. The team announced today that the Flyers defenseman will undergo surgery on his injured right hand.

Apparently, the team didn't see the fracture in his hand until a CT scan revealed it on Sunday. Awesome. With the poor play Sean O`Donnell lately - not to mention the team playing the next three games on the road - look for a call-up soon. Hopefully they choose Erik Gustafsson, who looked good in his brief stint in Ottawa.
