Jimmy Rollins Injury: SS Leaves Game With Right Groin Strain

Stay connected for news and updates

Phillies SS Jimmy Rollins has been pulled from today’s Phillies vs Nationals’ game with what the Phillies are calling a right groin strain in the third inning. Rollins could be seen limping after making a fine play on a grounder up the middle in the previous inning.

As Matt Gelb pointed out, Rollins has been dealing with soreness in his knee this season. Wilson Valdez has replaced him at short.
