The New York Knicks won their fourth game in a row on Wednesday night, cooling off the red hot Philadelphia 76ers by a final score of 85-79 at the Garden. Riding high and two games above .500 in the shortened season, the win fuels fans' hopes to end a decade of relative anonymity for the Knicks and get back into contention this season.
Carmelo Anthony picked up where he left off the last time these two teams met. He led the way with 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals. Amare Stoudemire scored 20 points and had ten rebounds. Tyson Chandler led the team with 13 rebounds on the night. Josh Harrelson had 13 points off the bench, sinking three of five three-point attempts.
