Philadelphia Flyers Vs. Minnesota Wild: SI.com Highlights Claude Giroux Recent Struggles

Stay connected for news and updates

The Philadelphia Flyers return to the Wells Fargo Center Tuesday night after a long four-game road trip that concluded Sunday with a 4-2 loss to the Nashville Predators. And despite their success their one glaring issue with the Flyers, as leading scorer, center Claude Giroux, is really struggling as of late.

In his last 10 games, Giroux has tallied just one goal and is minus-6 in his past four.

"It's not really about the stats, it's knowing that I can play better," Giroux said earlier this week.

"Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said the coaching staff has talked to Giroux about trying to relax through this slump. Players often shoot more to get out of slumps. Giroux had five shots and logged 25 minutes ice time against Nashville."
