The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the best stories in this young NBA season.

Under Doug Collins, the 76ers have gotten off to a great start at 10-3. While the rest of the Atlantic Division is under .500 and looking atrocious, Philadelphia is clicking on all cylinders. Not only have they been winning, but the team is crushing opponents by an average of 15 points per game.

The 76ers are a deep team with no less than six players averaging double figures. While no one player stands heads and shoulders above the rest of the group, that's part of why Philly is so hard to deal with.

With a solid vet like Andre Iguodala and youngsters in Spencer Hawes, Jrue Holiday and Lou Williams the 76ers have a bevy of ability. Philadelphia has relied on a team game more than a few stars like most successful teams in the league currently.

On Wednesday night, the 76ers get a stiff challenge from the visiting Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are 9-5 on the year and boost a formidable front court headlined by Nene Hilario. Denver is the second highest scoring team in the NBA due in large part to Danilo Gallinari and Ty Lawson. However, the Nuggets are ranked only 25th in scoring defense.

If Denver can't defend better than usual, it could be a long night for George Karl and crew at the Wells Fargo Center.
