The Temple Owls had no problems against the Charlotte 49ers on Wednesday night. They dispatched their fellow Atlantic 10 team with a 79-57 win. The win gives Temple a three-game winning streak.
Leading the way again was Ramone Moore. The senior guard scored 18 points and had two rebounds, two assists, four steals and a blocked shot in the effort. Aaron Brown scored 16 points off the bench. The Owls' second-leading scored, Khalif Wyatt, had 12 points, two rebounds, six assists and a team-best five steals. In just his second game back from a knee injury, Michael Eric scored six points and led the team with nine rebounds.
Temple has now won three of their last four games. The Owls have a 14-5 overall record and are 3-2 in Atlantic 10 play this season. On Saturday, they host the St. Joseph's Red Hawks.
