Drexel Vs. Delaware Final Score: Dragons Win 71-55

The Drexel Dragons continued their stellar play today, winning their ninth consecutive game and 15 of their last 16. The win improves their record to 17-5 overall and 9-2 in Colonial Conference play.

One of Drexel's conference losses came at the hands of the Fightin Blue Hens, early in the season. Today the Dragons were able to exact revenge by defeating the Hens by 16 in the John A Daskalakis Center. They were led by Sammie Givens and Frantz Massenat, who scored 23 and 19, respectively.

Drexel was able to hold Delware to 34 percent shooting, including 1-9 from beyond the arch. The Hens were also out-rebounded 37 to 26 and recorded only two assists as a team, compared to 10 turnovers.

The Dragons next game is scheduled for February 1 when they travel to Northeastern to take on the Huskies, which represents the first of a three game road trip.
