The St. Joe's Hawks continue conference play tonight as they host the 8-5 Charlotte 49ers.

The 11-4 St. Joe's Hawks continue conference play tonight as they face off against the 8-5 Charlotte 49ers. Both teams are 1-0 in the Atlantic 10 this season, as St. Joe's defeated Duquesne by two in overtime their last time out, and Charlotte beat Richmond by five.

The Hawks are 9-1 at home this season, where they'll host the 49ers tonight, who are 4-3 on the road. Charlotte is pretty poor statistically, shooting only 40.5% as a team this season. St. Joe's, on the other hand, ranks 18th in the entire nation in field goal percentage at nearly 49 percent.

The player to watch on the 49ers is junior forward Chris Braswell. Braswell is averaging 13.9 points per game this season on 48 percent shooting. The key stat is, when Braswell scores 13 or more points per game the 49ers are 7-0. When he scores less than 13 the team is 1-5.
