Temple looks to stay undefeated in Big East play as the conference hits the heart of its schedule.
With the suddenly surging Penn State Nittany Lions enjoying a bye week, attention will be turned the way of the Temple Owls, fresh from their first conference victory since rejoining the Big East over the South Florida Bulls, as they take on the Connecticut Huskies in Connecticut.
Against South Florida in the Owls' first Big East contest since 2004, Temple was able to break a two-game losing streak and contain the Bulls offensive attack just enough to come away with a 37-28 victory.
Tied for second in the conference at 1-0, the Owls chase the 2-0 Rutgers Scarlet Knights, which take on the Syracuse Orange on Saturday. Both the Orange and Scarlet Knights are undefeated in conference play and will look to continue their early success.
