The Eagles were driving toward the end of the first quarter, but a Michael Vick fumble was picked up by Stephen Tulloch to give Detroit possession at Philly's 43-yard line heading into the second quarter.
Both offenses started off slowly. Detroit's first possession was a 3-and-out and gained just 5 yards. The Lions' second possession gained just 6 yards, but a 48-yard punt return by Stefan Logan put the Lions on Philadelphia's 34 and set Hanson up for his first field goal.
Philadelphia's defense started to crack against the Lions in their third possession. Quarterback Matthew Stafford hit Calvin Johnson for a 28-yard gain to move the sticks, but three penalties stalled the drive and the Lions settled for a 34-yard field goal.
Vick is 4-for-7 for 28 yards heading into the second quarter. He is also the team's leading rusher with 12 yards on three carries. LeSean McCoy has 2 yards on three carries.
