BCS Rankings 2012, Week 12: Louisville's loss drops Big East's best 10 spots

There are no more undefeated teams in the Big East, as Louisville's defeat at the hands of Syracuse dropped them to No. 19. Rutgers also represents the league in the BCS Standings at No. 22. Kansas State and Oregon are slated to play in the national title game following Alabama's loss.

With the Louisville Cardinals losing their first game, there are no Big East teams in the top 15 spots of the BCS rankings, while Alabama's drop from the ranks of the undefeated will likely take them out of national title contention.

Louisville fell ten spots from No. 9 to No. 19 after losing on the road to Syracuse. They're now tied at 8-1 overall with Rutgers, the only other team in the Big East to crack the Week 12 standings. Rutgers, who sits at No. 22, is one spot higher than they were before this week's win against Army,

Texas A&M's victory over the Crimson Tide shook up the top few spots of the rankings: Alabama is now No. 4, while Kansas State and Oregon are virtually neck-and-neck in the top two spots. That leaves Notre Dame on the outside looking in, as the undefeated Fighting Irish are No. 3 - meaning they'll need a loss by one of the two teams ahead of them to make it to the national title game.
