La Salle Vs. Fordham Final Score: Explorers Lose 67-62

The La Salle Explorers fell to 18-11 overall and 7-7 in the Atlantic 10 with a five-point loss against the Fordham Rams on Saturday. They held an 11-point halftime lead in the Rams' building, but managed only 20 second half points en route to a 67-62 loss. The lowly Rams have now won three conference games.

La Salle has now lost two consecutive games and five of their last six. At 7-7 in conference play they trail the Atlantic 10-leading Temple Owls by four and a half games with only two games remaining. The Explorers' late-season slide has eliminated all chances of them winning the regular season conference title.

All five Explorers' starters scored in double figures, but had no answer Fordham's Chris Gaston, who scored 35 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and blocked four shots. 15 of Gaston's rebounds were offensive, which nearly double's La Salle's eight offensive rebounds as a team.
