Penn Vs. Harvard Score Update: Quakers Upset Crimson, 55-54

Stay connected for news and updates

With a chance to virtually seal their Ivy League crown on their home court, the Harvard Crimson were unable to fend off the pesky Penn Quakers on Saturday night, falling 55-54.

Penn won the game with stellar play down the stretch, scoring 15 of the game's final 20 points and overcoming a six point halftime deficit.

Star guard Zack Rosen hit a pair of free throws with 23 seconds remaining to put Penn up for good, and finished with a team-high 20 points in 39 minutes.

The loss hurts Harvard's hopes for an Ivy League title, as they now stand just a half game ahead of Penn in the standings and the race is open with two conference games left for the Crimson.

Penn will next play on Friday night Vs. Brown, which marks the start of a three game stretch in four nights to close the regular season for the Quakers.
