Stay connected for news and updates

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks are the 2012 Patriot League Champions. Lehigh beat the top-seeded Bucknell Bison in a nailbiter with a final score of 82-77.

This was the second time Lehigh thwarted the Bison. On Feb. 16, they ended Bucknell's perfect conference record.

CJ McCollum lead the Hawks with 29 points. Gabe Knutson added another 23 points and led the team with seven rebounds.

Lehigh shot 50 percent from the field, edging Bucknell who hit just under 42 percent of their shots from the field.

The Hawks had the second seed in the Patriot League tournament.

The most recent Bracketology update from SB Nation predicted Bucknell to win the Patriot League and earn an invite to the NCAA Tournament. Their bracket prediction has the Patriot League winning as the 15th seed in the East Regional, matched up against Duke.
