Less than 48 hours after spoiling a weekend for an Atlantic Division rival, the Philadelphia Flyers will try to do the same Tuesday when they host the New York Rangers at the Wells Fargo Center (7 p.m. ET on COMCAST). The Flyers (46-24-9, 101 points) will also be trying to prevent a six-game series sweep by the Rangers (50-22-7, 107 points), who will be trying to clinch the top spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs Tuesday.

The Flyers will be trying to play spoiler a bit shorthanded -- something they should be used to by now -- as forward Danny Briere will be out with an upper-back contusion and defenseman Nicklas Grossmann will miss the final week of the regular season. It is still uncertain of starting goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov will return after missing the past three contests because of a bone chip in his foot.

This week, Philly will polish off its regular-season schedule as they host the Buffalo Sabres, Thursday, and are at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday. The match-up with the Pens could be a premier for a first-round playoff pairing.
