West Chester, PA resident Sean O'Hair teed off at 8:50 a.m. as the 2012 Players Championship began Thursday.

West Chester, PA resident Sean O'Hair got off to a blazing start Thursday morning during the opening round of the 2012 Players Championship, birdieing three of his first seven holes to move to 3-under par with two holes remaining in his front nine.

O'Hair teed off alongside David Toms and Henrik Stenson at 8:50 on the back nine at TPC Sawgrass, one group behind Tiger Woods, Hunter Mahan and Rickie Fowler.

Jim Furyk, born in West Chester, tees off at 1:07 p.m. on the front nine at TPC Sawgrass.

Thursday, May 10: 1-7 p.m. on the Golf Channel

Friday, May 11: 1-7 p.m. on the Golf Channel

Saturday, May 12: 12-2 p.m. on the Golf Channel, 2-7 p.m. on NBC

Sunday, May 13: 12-2 p.m. on the Golf Channel, 2-7 p.m. on NBC
