The 2012 Preakness Stakes post positions were announced on Wednesday during a live broadcast on HRTV. Where a horse starts on Saturday will play a part in determining where they will end up. If Kentucky Derby winner I'll Have Another wants to continue the chase for the Triple Crown, he needs a good starting position on Saturday. Bodemeister is currently the favorite to win the Preakness and was also be hoping for a good starting gate.
