Stage six of the 2012 Tour of California will get underway on Friday. The ride will start in Palmdale and end in Big Bear Lake, lasting 115.7 miles. The last ascent of the stage includes an ascent up a the mountain, at an elevation of more than 7,000, at the Snow Summit Ski area.
