Indy 500 2012: Who Are The Favorites This Weekend? Find Out In A Video Preview Of The Race

The Indianapolis 500 takes place this weekend. It marks the 101st year for one of the most recognizable sporting events in the world. Like every year, the days leading up to the race are wild with predictions and speculation about who might win this year's race.

Jeff Gluck, SB Nation's motorsports editor, talked about the upcoming race which takes place on Sunday in a video segment with SB Nation Studios. Gluck talked about what's been a strong showing for Chevrolet engines, returning this year to Indy racing for the first time since 2006.

He also talked about the favorites for the race, noting that expectations are high for the stable of Team Penske drivers as well as Andretti Autosport. As far as predicting a winner, Gluck goes with Helio Castroneve to take 1st place in the 101st Indianapolis 500.
