The Lehigh Mountain Hawks earned the No. 7 seed in the Division 1 Men's Lacrosse NCAA Tournament after earning the school's first Patriot League title and will host unseeded Maryland in round one.

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks earned the No. 7 seed in the Division 1 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament and will host the Maryland Terrapins, the defending national runners-up, on Sunday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be aired nationally on ESPN U.

Lehigh (14-2) won the Patriot League conference tournament for the first time by defeating No. 10 Colgate 16-14 on April 29. The Mountain Hawks jumped all over the Raiders while building a 5-0 lead, then held off Colgate after the Raiders cut the advantage to one goal once (at 6-5) and two goals on two other occasions.

Maryland (9-5) earned an at-large berth to its 10th straight NCAA tournament. The Terrapins entered last year's tournament unseeded, just like they do this season, but advanced to the national championship game before falling to Virginia.
