The Philadelphia Phillies look to end a four game losing streak as the travel to Denver, CO to take on the Colorado Rockies. First pitch is scheduled for 8: 40 p.m.
The Philadelphia Phillies (37-50) look to start the second half of the 2012 season on a high note as they start a three game series against the Colorado Rockies (33-52).
Cliff Lee (1-5, 3.98 ERA) will take the mound for Philadelphia, fresh off of his first win of the season against the New York Mets. Lee had his best start in a month in his last outing, giving up seven hits and two earned runs in eight innings of work.
The Rockies will counter with rookie Christian Friedrich (4-6, 5.98 ERA), who has lost his last five decisions. In his last start before the All-Star break, Friedrich gave up five hits and six earned runs in 4-1/3 innings in the Rockies' 6-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
