Tiger Woods, despite not winning a major championship in four years and being up and down recently, is definitely the odds-on favorite to win the British Open which begins on Thursday.
It's safe to say that fans will be tuning in to see what Tiger does, and if he fails it will be an utter disappointment. For Tiger, a three-time British Open champion, it is his tournament for the taking since he's made it clear that even though he's not the same player he was four years ago, he's still better than most of the field.
Vegasinsider.com has faith in Woods, at least, giving him 8-to-1 odds to win his fourth British Open this weekend. Local favorite Rory McIlroy is also picked to have a good chance to win, with 10-to-1 odds. Other European players, such as Lee Westwood (12-to-1), Luke Donald (15-to-1), and Padraig Harrington (15-to-1) rounded out the top five.
