2012 PGA Championship: Cut Line At 6-Over Sends Martin Kaymer And Others Home Early

Stay connected for news and updates

The cut line for the 2012 PGA Championship has been placed at 6-over par, ending the tournament for a number of noted golfers, including some surprising names. Martin Kaymer, who was the winner of the event just two years ago, is already done for the weekend. Rickie Fowler (10-over) shares the same fate, as does Matt Kuchar (10-over), Hunter Mahan (8-over), Sergio Garcia (7-over) and Lee Westwood (7-over). Jim Furyk, who is Pennsylvania's representative in the field, just makes it inside the line at 5-over par. Playing it even close are world No. 1 Luke Donald and Jason Dufner, both of whom are 6-over par.
