SB Nation Preseason All-Americans: Gerald Hodges Among Linebackers Celebrated

On Tuesday morning, SB Nation published some of members of the site's 2012 Preseason All-America Team, adding running backs and linebackers to the list (nominations were determined by polling writers who cover college football for the site).

Included in the linebacker group was Penn State's Gerald Hodges, who was named as an honorable mention. This nomination continues Hodges' streak of recognition this summer as the senior has already been named to the 2012 Butkus Award Watchlist for best linebacker in the country as well as the Lombardi Award Watchlist for the nation's best lineman or linebacker.

The other linebackers joining Hodges on the SB Nation Preseason All-America Team are Jarvis Jones (Georgia), Manti Te'o (Notre Dame), Chris Borland (Wisconsin), Chase Thomas (Stanford), Arthur Brown (Kansas State), C.J. Mosley (Alabama) and Sean Porter (Texas A&M).
