2012 U.S. Open Scores: Ana Ivanovic, Maria Kirilenko, Jelena Jankovic Advance to Round 3

Ana Ivanovic advanced to the third round of the 2012 U.S. Open on Thursday afternoon by defeating Sofia Arvidsson of Sweden, 6-2, 6-2. The 25-year-old Serbian will play the winner of the match between Sloane Stephens and Tatjana Malek, which is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.

Maria Kirilenko, Jelena Jankovic and Dominika Cibulkov all advanced in the women's bracket on Thursday, as well.

In the men's bracket, Feliciano Lopez currently leads Pablo Andujar, 6-4, 6-1, 6(5)-7(6). The winner of the match will advance to the third round to challenge Andy Murray.

In addition, Mardy Fish and Jo-Wilfred Tsonga have just begun their respective second round matches in the men's bracket.
