2012 U.S. Open: Schedule, TV Coverage, Live Streaming And More

Allentown resident Varvara Lepchenko kicks off women's third round action on Day 5 of the U.S. Open on a day that will be highlighted by Andy Roddick's second-round match a day after the star announced his imminent retirement from the sport.

Lepchenko takes the court at Arthur Ashe Stadium for her first match against a seeded opponent, No. 7 Samantha Stosur. Here's the schedule of play on that court, where the premier matches of the day will be played:

Day session (starts at 11 a.m.)

Varvara Lepchenko (31) vs. Samantha Stosur (7)

Rogerio Dutra Silva vs. Novak Djokovic (2)

Maria Sharapova (3) vs. Mallory Burdette

Night session (begins at 7 p.m.)

Andy Roddick (20) vs. Bernard Tomic

Victoria Azarenka (2) vs. Jie Zheng

Roddick said this year's tournament would be his last, meaning any loss will be his final career match.

Today's action will be broadcast on the Tennis Channel from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., while ESPN2 will carry the tournament from 1 p.m. through the end of play at 11 p.m.
