TIger Woods opens the 2012 PGA Championship as the favorite to win it all. He has 8/1 odds. This is not the first time Woods has been favored in a major tournament this year, setting up what could be one of the more interesting stories to watch on the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island this weekend.
The first round stats at 7:20 a.m. ET on Thursday morning. Woods tees off at 8:30 a.m. in a group with Keegan Bradley, the defending champion and Martin Kaymer. Golfers tee off until 2:30 p.m. before the field starts to narrow as the tournament continues.
The TNT Network will have live coverage of the first round from 1-7 p.m. Eastern on Thursday. Coverage of the headline groups is available via online streaming from PGA.com.
