Ravens safety Bernard Pollard has left Baltimore's game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday with an apparent injury to his chest. Pollard went to the locker room to have a chest X-ray and returned to the sideline without shoulder pads, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The seventh-year safety was injured while sacking Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. Pollard, known for hard-hitting, was all over the field on Sunday, also recording an interception in the first quarter.

Pollard is in his second season with the Ravens. He recorded 75 tackles, two sacks, and an interception in 2011. The 27-year old out of Purdue is an important piece of Baltimore's defensive backfield.

The Eagles have fallen behind Ravens, 14-7, as the game approaches halftime. Turnovers have hurt Philadelphia's offensive production.
