Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson and others are in Atlanta, GA for the Tour Championship this week.
On Thursday, the 2012 Tour Championship will start at the venerable East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA to put an end to this year's FedEx Cup.
All the big names in golf will be in attendance competing for the $10 million first-place prize that goes to the FedEx Cup winner. Some of the names include greats like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy. With a win on Sunday evening, Brandt Snedeker and Nick Watney would also become quite rich in a hurry.
MciIlroy is the odds-on favorite to win the tournament. The phenom has been absolutely dominant in the last few months and will look to continue that trend this week.
Woods is trying to bring home his fourth tourney of the year. The 14-time major champion has been much more consistent this year, finally showing the ability to put his entire game together.
