NHL Lockout 2012: Phantoms To Open Training Camp In Voorhees On Sept. 29

The Philadelphia Flyers announced on Monday afternoon that the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, will be opening training camp at The Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone located in Voorhees, New Jersey on Saturday, Sept. 29.

The camp will run until Oct. 7 and will feature 39 invitees, which consists of 21 forwards, 15 defenseman and three goaltenders. Of course, with the NHL lockout still in effect, several young players from last year's Flyers team will be at the camp, including Brayden Schenn, Sean Couturier and Matt Read.

Via the Flyers' official website:

Players will take the ice for the first time at 9:15 AM on Sept. 29. On-ice sessions on the first day include a second session in the afternoon from 4:30 - 6:00 PM.

Saturday will also include a full day of free activities for fans in attendance.
