The Philadelphia Eagles start their 2012 campaign by taking a road trip to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 on Sunday.
Philadelphia didn't live up to high expectations last season, and, as Sports Illustrated's Peter King notes while making his game pick, a 33-16 Eagles' victory, the health of quarterback Michael Vick will once again be a high priority.
"Most important thing for the Eagles this week," King writes. "Keeping Mike Vick upright."
SB Nation's NFL Editor Joel Thorman sees these two teams as having vastly different goals for the season, and thinks Philadelphia will breeze to a 27-7 win:
The Eagles have Super Bowl dreams. The Browns are hoping to hit, I don't know, seven or eight wins?
Across the board, ESPN's panel of 12 experts selected the Eagles, the same for Yahoo! Sports three-man panel of Mike Silver, Jason Cole and Les Carpenter, who all went with Philadelphia to earn the Week 1 victory in Cleveland.
