Dan Klausner

West Philadelphia (well, Lower Merion, to be exact), born and raised, in Jewish day school is where I spent most of my days. Graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in May 2010, currently living in Washington, DC, and working for an e-commerce company in the area. I'm an avid sports fan who religiously follows the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers (and I'm warming back up to the Sixers)… but hockey was my first love. I can also tell you where 9 out of every 10 NFL players went to college (no, really), but I can't tell you why it's that kind of useless information that sticks in my brain. It's weird, fascinating, and idiot savant-like.

2011 Philadelphia Eagles: The Best 3-5 Team Ever

Welcome back, Eagles. It's the first week of November... is the season really already over for the dreamiest of Dream Teams? Well, no, but saying making the playoffs is an uphill battle would be an understatement. The Eagles pooped themselves on Monday Night Football and came crashing back to Earth. The mission to salvage the season again begins anew against the Cardinals.

Philadelphia Phillies Offseason Preview

One fan's look at the offseason and how to potentially construct the 2012 Philadelphia Phillies.

2011 Philadelphia Eagles: The Best 3-4 Team Ever

That's now 13-0 for Andy Reid coming off the bye... I guess it's something you can bank on. The Eagles were a focused, determined, confident bunch and systematically destroyed the Cowboys on national television. As Michael Vick said after the game, the new season starts Monday night against the Bears.

2011 Philadelphia Eagles: Season Saved... For Now

A season-saving victory against the Redskins has the Eagles going into the bye week at 2-4, but nobody's exhaling just yet. Still, there were reasons for encouragement, and with three straight home games coming up the season can get back on track very quickly.

2011 Philadelphia Eagles: The Nightmare Continues

At 1-4 and coming off another disheartening loss, things look bleak for the Eagles. The media and fans are calling for Andy Reid's head, the players look confused and disinterested on the field, and there's the uncomfortable feeling that this disaster won't end anytime soon. The season isn't over yet, but a premature end is rapidly approaching.

2011 Philadelphia Phillies Postmortem: They Fooled Us

The Phillies took you on the ride of your life during the regular season, and then broke your heart in less than a week once the playoffs started. Even worse, now we have to confront an offseason and future full of uncertainty.

2011 Philadelphia Flyers Season Preview

After a tumultuous offseason that saw the two franchise cornerstones jettisoned, a legitimate upper echelon goalie secured, and the shocking signing of a Hall of Famer fresh from a three-year stint in the KHL, a new era of Flyers hockey is upon us. Hopefully, we are about to embark on a journey that ends with a Stanley Cup championship.

2011 Philadelphia Eagles: Welcome to My Nightmare

A look back at the Eagles' gut-wrenching loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4.

Phillies Season Review and Playoff Preview

It's the playoffs. Finally. The Phillies enter the postseason as the prohibitive favorite to win the National League, if not the World Series, and excitement -- nervousness, too? -- is at an all-time high in Philadelphia. Let's take a look back at the historic 2011 regular season and forward to what could be an even more rewarding month of October.

2011 NFL Season Preview: AFC

The second part of my season preview, this post takes a look at the AFC.
