Eagles expect 'excited' Asante Samuel after ugly offseason breakup

John Gonzalez of CSN Philly wrote how the Atlanta Falcons' Asante Samuel is amped up to play against the Philadelphia Eagles after an ugly public feud between management and the star cornerback saw Samuel shipped out of town this offseason.

"I know he’s gonna come to play, I know that," (Andy) Reid said. "He’ll be excited. I don't really get into that [trash talk]. I think he’s a good football player."

Reid was tactful. That’s never been Samuel’s preferred approach.
