From Corey Seidman at CSN Philly: The Philadelphia Phillies have the fourth best odds in the National League to win the World Series next season despite missing the playoffs for the first time since 2006.
Despite finishing 81-81 in an injury-riddled 2012 season and missing the playoffs by seven games, the Phillies have the eighth-best shot of winning the 2013 World Series, according to early odds from Pregame.com.
The Phils are fourth among NL teams with 15/1 odds, behind the World Champion Giants (10/1), the Nationals (13/1) and Reds (14/1).
