Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Jason Kubel would fit the Philadelphia Phillies team well.
The Arizona Diamondbacks signed free agent outfielder Cody Ross, limiting the talent pool available in free agency. The Diamondbacks could provide a potential solution to the Philadelphia Phillies outfield problems by trading them Jason Kubel.
Arizona has plenty of outfield depth, and has placed Kubel on the trading block. Corey Seidman of CSN Philly think that Kubel is agood fit for the team:
Kubel, 30, hit 30 home runs and 30 doubles last season. His OPS was .833. He's not a strong fielder or runner, but he hit more homers in June and July of 2012 (18) than all but one Phillie had for the entire season.
Kuble is left-handed and has a fairly large platoon split, but could make a strong addition to the Phillies next season.
