US PRESSWIRE

The Eagles signed offensive tackle Matt Kopa off the Patriots’ practice squad Monday and added him to their 53-man roster.

Kopa fills the roster spot that opened up when the Eagles released Jason Babin last Tuesday. The roster had been at 52 through the weekend.

Kopa, 6-foot-6, 310 pounds, is the third player the Eagles have signed from the Patriots this year, following offensive lineman Matt Tennant, who they signed on Oct. 23, and wide receiver Greg Salas, who they signed Nov. 23.
