Penn State Vs. Nebraska: Tied 0-0 After One Quarter

Penn State has been in the news all week, for all the wrong reasons. Today they get to temporarily put all the scandals aside to play a football game. The 7-1 and twelfth ranked Nittany Lions host the 7-2 and nineteenth ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers

After one quarter the game is tied 0-0. Despite the score Penn State has dominated the first period. They have racked up 107 total yards, compared to 29 for Nebraska. The time of possession in the first quarter was 10 minutes for the Nittany Lions, compared to five minutes for the Cornhuskers. 

Neither team has committed a turnover or penalty thus far.

Penn State's quarterback, Matthew McGloin has completed 5 of 11 passes for 61 yards. Running back Silas Reed has carreid the ball six times for 32 yards.
