Penn State Vs. Nebraska: Nittany Lions Down 10-0 At Half

The Penn State Nittany Lions have not had a pleasant week off the field and now they are being shut out in front of their home crowd by the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The Cornhuskers lead 10-0 at halftime behind 117 total yards from quarterback Taylor Martinez. Martinez has completed nine of 17 passes for 101 yards and rushed for 16 more, on nine carries. Ameer Abdullah has scored the game's only touchdown, on a two yard run with 44 seconds remaining in the half.

Despite being down 10-0 Penn State has been competitive. They have more total yards than Nebraska and have had the ball for longer than Nebraska. They just haven't been able to turn it into points. They've also committed three penalties for 32 yards. The Cornhuskers have committed zero.

The second half of the game can be seen on ESPN.
