College Football Rankings, Week 14: Penn State Football Falls In AP Poll

The Penn State football program not only lost its shot at a Big Ten Conference title Saturday with a 45-7 loss at the University of Wisconsin, but the drubbing dropped the Nittany Lions in latest college football rankings, released Sunday afternoon.

After being ranked No. 20 in the AP poll last week, the Nittany Lions fell to No. 23 this week. Penn State is the lowest of the five ranked Big Ten schools, as Michigan State (No. 11), Wisconsin (No. 15), Michigan (No. 17) and Nebraska (No. 20) are all ranked ahead of PSU. The Spartans and Badgers will face each other in the inaugural Big Ten Conference Championship, Saturday, Dec. 3 (8:17 p.m. on FOX).

Meanwhile, LSU remains No. 1 overall, while Alabama, Oklahoma State, Stanford and Virginia Tech round out the AP Poll's top five. Here's the rest of the top 25 rankings:
