A Penn State hat will rest on the table. It's up to Nittany Lions recruit Beau Hankins whether he wants to wear it.

Hankins, a 6-1, 230-pound inside linebacker ranked No. 55 nationally at his position and No. 64 among all Alabama high schoolers, announced that he will make his college decision official on national signing day, Wednesday, Feb. 1. (via ESPN Insider)

"It will be at 11 a.m. (CT) at the school auditorium," Hankins said. "It will be on Feb. 1st. All the hats will be on the table -- Arkansas, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Central Florida, Wake Forest, Stanford and FIU."

Hankins has already taken official visits to Central Florida, Florida International and Arkansas, and is deciding whether he will take a visit to Georgia Tech.
