The undefeated and nationally-ranked Northwestern Wildcats head to Happy Valley looking to avoid an upset as they face Penn State.
The No. 24 Northwestern Wildcats, still unbeaten at this point in the season, travel to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday.
Northwestern currently sits atop the Big Ten's Legends division thanks in part to their running game, which, with an average of 255.8 yards per game, ranks ninth in the nation. They kicked off Big Ten play with a 44-29 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers last weekend.
After dropping their first two games of the season, the Nittany Lions have reeled off three straight victories over Navy, Temple and most recently Illinois in their first Big Ten contest. Defensively, Penn State ranks 14th in nation in points allowed, giving up only 13.6 points per game on average.
Last season, Penn State went on the road and dropped Northwestern, 34-24, in late October.
The Nittany Lions, though sitting at 3-2, are currently two-point favorites according to OddsShark. The over/under is presently sitting at 47½.
Game-time is set for 12 p.m. ET at Beaver Stadium and will be televised on ESPN.
