Penn Vs. Harvard: Quakers Host No. 25 Crimson In Ivy League Battle

The Penn Quakers look to vault themselves closer to the top of the Ivy League standings with a win over the Conference-leading Harvard Crimson.

On Friday night, the Pennsylvania Quakers basketball team will host the 25th ranked Harvard Crimson in a crucial Ivy League showdown. The Quakers own a lackluster 12-10 record on the season, but are still in contention for the Ivy League title thanks to their conference play, where they're 4-1 this season. A win against the Crimson – who are 20-2 overall, 6-0 in conference play and sit atop the Ivy League standings – would increase the Quakers chances to obtain the conference title.

Harvard hasn't lost a game since January 3, when they lost to the Fordham Rams. The Quakers are coming off a road win against the Brown Bears and have won five of their last six games. Senior guard, Zack Rosen, leads Penn in scoring at 18.3 per game, boasting impressive shooting percentages of 48/41/88. Harvard's leading scorer is Laurent Rivard at 11.3 per game.
