Penn State has won just once in its past nine outings to fall to 2-10 in the Big Ten. The Nittany Lions visited Michigan St. on Wednesday and came away with a 77-57 defeat despite 19 points, seven assists and five rebounds from leading scorer Tim Frazier. Penn State could not stop Draymond Green, who tallied 23 points and 12 rebounds, and the Spartans remained perfect at home at 15-0.
Nebraska dropped its third straight on Wednesday, a 62-46 affair against Michigan. The Cornhuskers shot just 22 percent in the first half, scoring only 15 points before intermission, and fell to 3-9 in the Big Ten.
